Unity

“that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.” Those words, from John 17:21, were spoken by our Lord Jesus as He was praying to His Father. Hearing this prayer for unity among believers, and for the world to believe in Him, must have made a powerful and lasting impression on the young apostle. Let’s not forget the power they still carry today. Consider taking a moment—maybe even right now—to ask that God would unite the church, and bring many throughout the world to saving faith in Christ. Friends, that’s something to pray about!
