Central Illinois School of Prayer

The Central Illinois School of Prayer offers one-of-a-kind local theological training with an emphasis on personal growth in prayer and knowledge of Scripture. Courses are taught in a welcoming group setting with all ages, experience levels and Christian traditions in mind. Our heart is to grow in prayer together so we can love Jesus, His church, our neighbors and ourselves in the most healthy, biblical and God-glorying ways possible.

The Spring 2024 semester is every 2nd and 4th Friday evening from March 8-May 24 for a total of six courses. The Prayers of Christ is the theme for the semester. All classes are on Friday nights from 7-8:30 p.m. (7-7:45 p.m. instruction; 7:45-8:30 p.m. group discussion and prayer). Open to all ages and free of charge. Students do not have to commit to all six courses, and can come to as many, or as few, as schedules allow. The Spring 2024 semester is led by Derek and Mandy Kistner as well as a trusted team of leaders experienced in prayer. Located at the Greater Peoria House of Prayer.
