Wisdom And Revelation

I like to begin each year focused on asking God for wisdom to navigate the year ahead. I love Paul’s prayer in Ephesians 1:17 where he prays that God the Father would grant believers in Ephesus with “the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of (Jesus Christ).” I’m not sure if there’s a better prayer that we can lift up for ourselves and for the broader body of Christ right now than asking our heavenly Father for wisdom, and that Christ would be revealed to us in greater ways. As we enter embark on a new year, let me encourage you to make Paul’s prayer into your prayer. Our loving Father delights in granting the wisdom we need, and eyes to see His Son more clearly. Now that’s something to pray about!
